On 16th July 2024, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Acting Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, Mahidol University, gave a warm welcome to Mrs. Louise Turton, Global Partnerships Manager (Global Engagement), University of Sussex, the United Kingdom, on the occasion of university visitation and the discussion on potential academic and research collaborations with Mahidol University, including the collaboration in Articulation Degrees in Biomedical Science and Bioinnovation with the Faculty of Science, and the cooperation on Clinical Elective Courses for Medical Student with the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital. In addition, the discussion also explored collaboration opportunities of the two institutions on the Cotutelle and Joint Supervision Programs, the exchange of student and academic staff, and research collaboration in the fields of mutual interest. This meeting took place at the 308 Room, 3rd Floor, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
In this regard, Dr. Rapee Boonplueang, Deputy Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations, Faculty of Science, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wattana Weerachatyanukul, Deputy Dean for Educational Innovation and Salaya Campus, Faculty of Science, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Donniphat Dejsuphong, M.D., Program in Translational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, followed by faculty members and staff of Mahidol University, also welcomed and led the representative from the University of Sussex, the United Kingdom, to visit the departments of each faculties.
