On November 6, 2024, Asst. Prof. Ittichote Chuckpaiwong, Ph.D., Vice President for Infrastructure and Environment, Mahidol University, participated in the “ASEAN SDGs Youth Camp: Leveraging Digital Innovation for the SDGs”, while also delivered a lecture on “Explore MU’s SDGs Achievements on Campus” to enhance knowledge in the policy of Mahidol University on natural resources management, e.g., water resource management, aligning to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event was organized during the 4th – 8th of November, 2024, with the cooperation between the Global Partnerships Division, Mahidol University, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the ASEAN Center for Sustainable Development Studies and Dialogue (ACSDSD). Primarily attended by Mahidol University administrators and students, together with the youth delegates from ASEAN countries and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, at the Prachasangkom Udompathana Meeting Room, Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University, Salaya.
In addition, the lectures also featured several engaging topics, including the “Digital Innovation for Environmental Sustainability” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, and the “Digital Innovation for Healthcare Delivery” by Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mahidol University. Moreover, the dean of ICT, Mahidol University, engaged in a panel discussion titled “Digital Innovation in Health and Well-being” with the representatives from both public and private sectors as well.
