On 3rd – 4th April 2024, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, along with Prof. Dr. Pattarachai Kiratisin, M.D., Ph.D., Vice President for Research, Mahidol University, participated in the “Open Science Institutional Site Visit”, the programme which was organized by Utrecht University in the Netherlands and the International Association of Universities (IAU).
The purpose of the programme was to create opportunities for the exchange of knowledge on Open Science through learning from the practices of Utrecht University on how they align their goals with the national and institutional policies of the Netherlands to achieve full open access to Open Science, throughout to encourage free will of scientific research sharing, build up cooperation in scientific research development among educational institutions and general public, and to enhance international research collaboration. In this matter, the executives and representatives from academic institutions worldwide and other international institutions also participated in this event at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
