On November 15, 2024, Mahidol University, led by Assoc. Prof. Sittiwat Lertsiri, Ph.D., Vice President, along with Assoc. Prof. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Ph.D., Vice President for Research, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, Ms. Nara Pao-in, Vice President for People Management and Organization Development, as well as Clinical Prof. Artit Ungkanont, M.D., Dean, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Asst. Prof. Suchin Worawichawong, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, and Dr. Sittiprapa Isarangura, Ph.D., Chair, Ph.D. Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Bruce Dowton, Vice Chancellor and President of Macquarie University, and Mr. Matthew Monkhouse, Director, Southeast Asia & Eurasia, from Macquarie University, Australia, together with Ms. Watinee Kharnwong, Director (Education), Australian Embassy Bangkok.
The aim of this meeting was to discuss potential collaborations on education, research, and mobility between Mahidol University and Macquarie University, focusing on Joint Unit (Hearing Hub), Cotutelle & Joint Supervision Program, Mobility Programs, and Seed Grant scholarships.
