On 29th May 2024, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, and Prof. Khokiat Kengskool, Ph.D., Professor of Practice (I.E.) and Director of International Programs for Southeast Asia, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, College of Engineering and Computing, Florida International University (FIU), the United States of America, jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic and research collaboration of the two universities. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Naeti Suksomboon, Pharm.D., Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and the executive team from the faculties of Mahidol University, came to witness at the VIP Room, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) enables the cooperation between Mahidol University and Florida International University (FIU), the United States of America, covering in academic and research areas, including the cooperation for research in all Engineering Disciplines, Medical, Nursing, and Health Sciences, the training programs for students, and the exchange of students, visiting faculties and researchers.
In this regard, Prof. Khokiat Kengskool, Ph.D., Professor of Practice (I.E.) and Director of International Programs for Southeast Asia, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, College of Engineering and Computing, Florida International University (FIU), also went to visit the Faculty of Engineering and was welcomed by the faculty members and staff at the Innogineer Studio, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
