Mahidol University Participated in 2024 Education Conference of “Belt and Road” International Medical Education Alliance (BRIMEA), in Shenyang, People’s Republic of China

On 20th – 21st June 2024, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, along with Assoc. Prof. Kongkhet Riansuwan, M.D., Vice President for Administration, and Mr. Suraporn Loiha, M.D., Vice President for Amnatcharoen Campus Project, Mahidol University, participated in the 2024 Education Conference of “Belt and Road” International Medical Education Alliance (BRIMEA), themed “Build a New Ecosystem of Education with Intelligence, Lead New Development of Medicine with Innovation”. The conference was organized by the “Belt and Road” International Medical Education Alliance (BRIMEA), aimed to discuss new developments and trends in medical education among Belt and Road countries from multiple dimensions, including educational concepts, digital innovation in education, and smart education ecosystems. On this occasion, the President of Mahidol University was invited to give a presentation entitled “Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning: Experiences from Mahidol University”. During this conference, the distinguished experts from medical education university and institution members of BRIMEA came together to participate at China Medical University in Shenyang, People’s Republic of China.

Mahidol University is one of the founding members of the “Belt and Road” International Medical Education Alliance (BRIMEA), which was established on May 26th, 2018, initiated by China Medical University in Shenyang, People’s Republic of China, with the participation from 48 medical education institutions across 15 countries worldwide.
