Mahidol University Participated in the “ASAIHL International Conference 2024: Advances in Information and Communication Technology on Education”, at Juntendo University, Japan

On 14th – 19th June 2024, Asst. Prof. Auemphorn Mutchimwong, Ph.D., Vice President for Finance, along with Ms. Mondhakarn Oprasertsawat, M.D., Vice President for Nakhonsawan Campus Project, Mahidol University, participated in the ASAIHL International Conference 2024, with the topic of “Advances in Information and Communication Technology on Education at Juntendo University”. In this regard, Prof. Hiroyuki Daida, President of Juntendo, Japan, together with Prof. Dr. Ninnat Olanvoravuth, Secretary-General of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL), altogether presided over the conference which included senior executives and representatives of higher education institutions from Thailand and foreign countries participating in the mentioned event at Juntendo University, Japan.

On this occasion, the executives of Mahidol University, also attended the ASAIHL Board Meeting with university senior executives from various countries and had listened to the presentations of country reports delivered by the representatives from member universities of ASAIHL Thailand. In addition, they also went to visit educational institutions and Startup companies in Japan to create cooperation networking on academic collaboration and to foster experience for educational administration with other universities abroad.

The ASAIHL International Conference 2024 was organized during the 14th – 19th of June, 2024, by the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL). The purpose of this conference was to enhance the senior leaders and administrators of higher education institutions in Thailand to create an academic cooperation network with universities and institutions in Japan, as well as to adapt themselves to the world dynamics and build up the internationalization aligning with international strategies of the Association of The Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT).
