Ms. Rapeeporn Taewattana, a master’s student in Adult and Gerontological Nursing, and Ms. Pavinee Utedpornrattanakul, a
master’s student in Gerontological Nursing Practitioner, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, have been awarded scholarships to attend the “UGM Summer Course 2023” organized by Universitas Gadjah Mada in Indonesia. The activities included lectures by global experts on many interesting topics, such as rare diseases, aging, and cancer. The event also involved visiting the community with a team of doctors and nurses from Indonesia to inspect people’s health in the area, analyze health problems, and present them in groups. Out of 10 groups of students from different countries, Ms. Pavinee Utedpornrattanakul’s group received the first prize for presenting on “Mental Health Problems in Communities” and Ms. Rapeeporn Taewattana’s group received the third prize for their presentation on “Iron Deficiency in Indonesia.”
