On July 3, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Wanna Sanongdej, Chairman of the Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner, RamathibodiSchool of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine RamathibodiHospital, Mahidol University, along with Mr. NipittaponSupanyabut, Ms. Pimlapas Addjanagitti, Ms. Thikankorn Thana, and Ms. Wasana Srisuk, students in the Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner (regular program), had a study visit to learn about working in the community of Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), a top university in Japan, and visited Osaka University to learn about the innovation in elderly care in the community, from July 3-7, 2023. The visits were for students to be able to exchange work experiences in various contexts and to bring knowledge gained to develop elderly care in the community, including doing community research with international students.
Assistant Professor Dr. Shio Tsuda, Assistant Professor at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, gave a warm welcome and lectured on the “Public Health Care System in Japan” and Professor Dr. Mai Kabayama R.N., Ph.D. from Osaka University, gave a lecture on “Long-Term Care System in Japan.”
The study visits were part of the RACN510 course, Community Nurse Practitioner Practicum, academic year 2022.
