Division of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, together with the Academic Service and Continuing Nursing Education Center of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, held an online academic conference entitled ‘Negotiation in Psychiatric Emergencies’ via Zoom meeting.
On August 11, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, presided over the conference with nursing faculty from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and external luminaries as speakers to provide knowledge and understanding about psychiatric emergencies management.
The objective was to provide participants with knowledge about psychiatric emergencies, including guidelines for managing psychiatric emergencies and negotiation guidelines in psychiatric emergencies.
Registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, nurse educators, public health personnel, and related persons from hospitals, both public and private sectors in Thailand, were interested and participated in the conference.
