Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, participated as a representative to follow up the former trainees in the Midwifery Program and Nursing Administration Program in the Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the Lao People’s Democratic Republic from July 10-13, 2023.
On this occasion, the delegations of the Midwifery Program and the Nursing Administration Program visited the hospitals and met with the former trainees in various departments, namely Yom-Malad Community Hospital, Yom-Malad, Khammouan district; Khammouan District Public Health Hospital, Thakhek, Khammouan district; Khammouan District Hospital, Thakhek, Khammouandistrict; Savannakhet District Health Science College, Kaysone Phomvihane, Savannakhet district; and Atsaphangthong Community Hospital, Atsaphangthong, Savannakhet district.
The objectives are to follow up and assess the former trainees on applying knowledge in the workplace. Moreover, to collect the information from this visit to prepare the medical and public health development plan (2024-2028) as a guideline for the curriculum revision accordingly.
