On September 29, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarawut Thephanondh, Dean of Mahidol University, Faculty of Public Health (MUPH), chaired the closing ceremony of the International Conference on Public Health, Environment, and Education for Sustainable Development Goals and Lifelong Learning, held at MUPH.
The following speakers from leading public health organizations delivered special lectures on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Prof. Dr. Don Eliseo III Lucero-Prisno, Department of Global Health and Development, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, United Kingdom; Topic: Understanding the Landscape of Global Research on SDGs.
- Dr. Somkiat Siriruttanapruek, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health; Topic: Thailand’s Environmental Health Policies Towards SDGs.
- Prof. Dr. Shinya Echigo, Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies at Kyoto University, Japan; Topic: Managing Chemical Contaminants in Drinking Water Considering the Transformation Processes.
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aronrag Meeyai, University of Oxford, United Kingdom; Topic: Causal Inference Methods in Public Health.
- Prof. Dr. Supa Pengphit, Department of Health Education and Behavioral Sciences, MUPH; Topic: Global Wellness Academy Development and Collaboration for Sustainable Development Goals and a Wellbeing Society
These lectures were attended by professors, researchers, academics, students, and individuals from both domestic and international backgrounds who participated in knowledge exchange with experts in the field of public health.
