National Nurses Day 2023 “Nurses of the Nation…Nurses of the World”
On October 20, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, along with Wanna Kongvivegkachornkij, RN, Head of Nursing Service Division, Ramathibodi Hospital, presided over the event “Nurses of the Nation…Nurses of the World” on the National Nurses Day 2023, which falls on October 21 of every year, to commemorate Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra Mahidol (Royal Grandmother). The event was organized by Ramathibodi School of Nursing in collaboration with the Nursing Service Division, Ramathibodi Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. Many faculty members, personnel, and the general public were interested in attending the event.
At the event, the exhibition was organized in honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra Mahidol under the theme “Her Royal Highness and her work in medicine and public health.” A panel discussion on the topic “Aging Away from Diseases” was also organized with Assistant Professor Orapitchaya Sriwannopas, M.D., Head of Geriatric Medicine, Department of Medicine; Associate Professor Dr. Noppawan Piaseu, Deputy Dean for Health Promotion, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital; Tipanetr Ngamkala, RN, Advanced Practice Nurse (Geriatric APN), the Nursing Service Division, Ramathibodi Hospital; and Mr. Ratthaphat Sitthilor, Health Education Officer, Health Promotion Unit, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, as speakers. Instructor Dr. Suhong Deesamer, Assistant Director for Finance, as a moderator.
