On 27 June 2023, Dr. Phibul Chompolpaisal, Dean of College of Religious Studies, Mahidol University and Dr. Eng Jin Ooi, Lecturer at College of Religious Studies, gave welcome remarks in an online academic event entitled “Mahidol University’s CRS Religious Studies Seminars”, in which Prof. Dr. Peter Skilling, Chulalongkorn University and University of Sydney gave a lecture on “EVAM ME SUTAM Thoughts on the Opening of Buddhist Sutras”. The seminar series is scheduled to take place on a monthly basis where international scholars in the field of Religious Studies are invited to give academic talks and presentations to promote a better understanding and knowledge of Religious Studies among about 175 students, lecturers, and interested persons joining the event.
