The virtual workshop on “Health Sciences: Train the Trainer Learning Design Workshops” under the Mahidol – Macquarie Center for International Education (MCIE)

On Tuesday 1^st March 2022, Assoc. Prof. Naeti Suksomboon, Vice President for Academic Affairs, provided opening remarks for the professional workshop on “Health Sciences: Train the Trainer Learning Design Workshops” and welcomed participants to the first session of the virtual workshop. The orientation session was delivered by Prof. Garry Falloon, Professor of STEM Education and Digital Learning, and Director of International Engagement at the School of Education, Macquarie University. This continuing workshop is the second series with a strong collaboration between Mahidol University and Macquarie University under the Center for International Education (MCIE). The workshop aims to elaborate on discipline-specific course design, tools, and assessments and concentrate on adult training principles to provide a background to the participants to become trainers themselves. The program consists of three elements, featuring online courses and consulting session in addition to a six-day virtual workshop via Zoom, across 6 days (on 1^st, 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd March and 5^th April 2022), with 28 academics across Mahidol University participating.
