Wisdom of Asia: Connecting​ Borders through Virtual World

On 2nd August 2021, Mahidol University, Gadjah MadaUniversity – Indonesia, Kyoto University – Japan and Yunnan University- China, officially opened the virtual program of the year Wisdom of Asia 2021, from 2nd-13th August 2021, with more than 50 participants.

The program starts with welcoming remarks from university executive from each university:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication of Mahidol University, Thailand

Prof. Paripurna, SH., M.Hum., LLM, Vice Rector for Cooperation and Alumni of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia

Prof. Eiji Nawata, Director of Kyoto University ASEAN Center in Bangkok, Kyoto University, Japan

Dr. Rong Xiang, Director of Social Work Research Institute, School of Ethnology and Sociology, Yunnan University, China

Wisdom of Asia is created on the unbreakable collaboration between 4 universities who share the mission as a higher education with commitment to create educational experiences for students and to serve the society using our deep disciplinary knowledges and expertises under International Relations Division and Dr. Pattira Thaithosaeng, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Program Advisor.

The program provides 4 modules; culture, health and wellness, sustainability management and design thinking. It aims to encourage the students as the world citizens to bring out their national wisdoms which have been inherited from many generations to share and exchange at the international level.
