An Instructor and Postgraduate Students in the Master of Nursing Science Program (Community Nurse Practitioner), Ramathibodi School of Nursing, participated in a study visit at the University of Osaka, Japan.

The administrative members and faculty from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, participated in the workshop under the “Leadership and Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Fellowship Program” and attended the “UCSF Clinical Inquiry Conference” at the University of California, San Francisco, United States.

An Instructor and Postgraduate Students in the Master of Nursing Science Program (Community Nurse Practitioner), Ramathibodi School of Nursing, participated in a study visit at the University of Osaka, Japan.

Dr. Chatsiri Mekwiwatanawong, Advisor and Instructor from the Division of Community Health Nursing, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, led eight postgraduate students in the Master of Nursing Science Program for a study visit at the University of Osaka, Japan, from October 1-3, 2025.

On October 1, 2025, Professor Kamide Kei, Dean of the University of Osaka Graduate School of Medicine, Division of Health Sciences, and faculty from the University of Osaka, Japan, gave a warm welcome to the delegation and led a visit to the Fukuda Clinic to learn about Home Health Care. The delegation also attended the lectures titled “Home Medical Care” and “Artificial Intelligence in Nursing” at the Suita Campus. Moreover, they had the opportunity to present their research and engage in knowledge exchange with undergraduate and postgraduate students from the University of Osaka, to promote understanding of home health care and the application of artificial intelligence in the nursing profession.

On October 2, 2025, the delegation visited the Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution (DRI) in Kobe City to learn about disaster management and human rehabilitation. The delegation also visited the Hyogo Emergency Medical Center to study the emergency medical system in disaster situations.

On October 3, 2025, the delegation visited the Nose Town Health and Welfare Center in Osaka to learn about elderly health care services and community-level welfare systems.

This study visit served as a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge in the fields of nursing, disaster management, and community health care between Thailand and Japan. The experience will contribute significantly to enhancing students’ potential and their ability to apply this knowledge in their future professional practice.
