Ramathibodi School of Nursing conducted the third assessment under “The Training and Preparation for the 3rd WorldSkills Asia Competition”, WorldSkills Asia Taipei 2025, in the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Ramathibodi School of Nursing, in collaboration with Luxembourg Aid & Development: Health and Nutrition Programme (Lao/035), Governments of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Lao PDR, implemented the “Leadership Training Program for Healthcare Providers” in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, in collaboration with Luxembourg Aid & Development: Health and Nutrition Programme (Lao/035), Governments of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Lao PDR, as financial supporters, implemented the “Leadership Training Program for Healthcare Providers,” the first cohort of the executive leadership training program for public health personnel, held in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

On November 17, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, presided over an opening ceremony of the “Leadership Training Program for Healthcare Providers,” the first cohort of the executive leadership training program for public health personnel, held from November 17 to 21, 2025, in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Dr. Saowaros Kongcheep, Assistant Dean for Cooperation between Education and Nursing Services, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, and Instructor from the Division of Adult and Gerontological Nursing delivered a report.

The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Silvia Morgoci, Senior Sectoral Adviser – Health and Nutrition Programme (LAO/035), together with Dr. Vanpheng Phanthanalay, Director of Vientiane Provincial Health Department, Ministry of Health, Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

The program aimed to enhance knowledge, understanding, and leadership skills, enabling participants to effectively apply principles of strategic management, communication, team building, and change management in health service systems. The program was designed for physicians and other interested professionals from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
