Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, in collaboration with the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), USA, organized the “Leadership and Evidence-based Practice (EBP) Fellowship Program.”

On February 17, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, delivered a welcoming speech and officially opened the program. Also present were Professor Dr. Noppawan Piaseu, Deputy Dean for Health Promotion, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, and Instructor Dr. Jiraporn Lininger, Deputy Director for International Relations and Program Chair for the Master of Nursing Science Program (International Program), who joined in welcoming Professor Dr. Jyu-Lin Chen, Professor Family Health Care Nursing School of Nursing; Professor Dr. Molly Shane, Executive Director of Care Management and Patient Transitions; and Professor Dr. Arthur Dominguez Jr., Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer of Adult Services from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), USA. These experts served as trainers for the “Leadership and Evidence-based Practice (EBP) Fellowship Program.”

 The program was attended by administrative members and faculty from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, nursing administrators from Nursing Service Division of Ramathibodi Hospital, as well as nursing administrators from Nursing Service Division of Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University.

The purpose of the program was to equip participants with the knowledge and skills in Leadership and EBP to enhance or improve nursing practices within their organizations. This would help ensure that patient care meets the highest standards in safety and effectiveness, and also enable them to design or develop educational programs or curricula based on Leadership principles and EBP to elevate patient care, education, and services.
