Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, along with Associate Professor Dr. Supreeda Monkong, Deputy Director for Graduate Studies, and faculty members from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, participated in the international conference titled “Triple Burden of Diseases : Nurse-Led Game Changer to Optimize the Outcomes of Care.” The conference was hosted by the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University; The Siriraj Nurses Alumni Association Under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra; and The Department of Nursing at Siriraj Hospital, with 26 institutions as co-hosts. The event took place from January 7 to 9, 2025, at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok.
The purpose of this conference was to exchange knowledge and approaches for managing the increasing global burden of diseases, highlight the importance of managing this burden, and emphasize the crucial role of nurses in leading changes and enhancing public healthcare outcomes.
