On January 15, 2024, nine second-year Bachelor of Nursing students from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, participated in an online class hosted by St. Luke’s International University, Japan, through a Zoom meeting.
During this session, students from Ramathibodi School of Nursing delivered presentations to the nursing faculty and students of St. Luke’s International University, covering topics such as nursing education, Thai midwifery, as well as an introduction to Thai food, culture, and the country itself. In turn, nursing students from St. Luke’s International University presented the same topics in the context of Japan to the students from Ramathibodi School of Nursing.
The objectives of this exchange were to foster an understanding of the educational systems and cultures of both countries, including promoting and improving the English language skills of the students from both institutions.
