On 7 August 2025, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University in collaboration with Chulalongkorn University and the Royal Police Cadet Academy organized the 2025 Annual International Conference of the Asian Association of Police Studies (AAPS). On this occasion, Professor Dr. Punchada Sirivunnabood, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mahidol University, Associate Professor Pakorn Siriprakob, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University, Pol. Lt. Col. Phongthon Thanyasiri, Director-General, Office of Justice Affairs, Ministry of Justice, and Pol. Lt. Gen. Dr. Zenith Samransamruadkit, Commissioner of the Royal Police Cadet Academy delivered welcome remarks. In this light, the President of the AAPS., Charles (Kuang-Ming) Chang, Professor and director, Department of Criminal Justice, Minchuan University, Republic of China presented tokens of appreciation to all co-hosts of the conference. In addition, Professor Dr. Robert D. Hanser, University of Louisiana at Monroe was a keynote speaker presenting on “Physical and mental health interventions and programs for police.” This year conference was organized under the theme “Innovating for a Sustainable and Equitable Future: Integrating Policy, Policing, Technology and Society.” There were distinguished experts and participants from Australia, Republic of China, India, Indonesia, Republic of Korea, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America, and Thailand attended the conference at the Royal Police Cadet Academy, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.
