The discussion emphasized the strengthening of future collaborations between Mahidol University and the University of York, including the cooperation for research and development of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP), clinical elective programmes in Medicine and Tropical Medicine, the Research Fellowship programme in Health Economics, the development of a joint degree programme in Health Science, the exchange of guest lecturers in Palliative Care, the establishment of a Capacity Strengthening Hub on Non-communicable Diseases and Dementia, the cooperation on AI Safety, and the advancement of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for medical graduates with the objective of enhancing their proficiency in specialized disciplines.
