In this regard, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Sasha Roseneil, Vice-Chancellor, together with the team of executives and faculties of the University of Sussex, the United Kingdom.
On this distinguished occasion, H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, and Mr. Srunyu Ampartrakarn, Minister Counsellor, from the Royal Thai Embassy, London, also graciously welcomed the delegation of Mahidol University in London, the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the discussion highlighted academic and research collaborations between Mahidol University and the University of Sussex, including joint teaching in Epidemiology, the establishment of joint graduate and postgraduate degree programs in Public Health, a 6+1 Joint Degree Program for Medical Doctorates and researchers in the Master of Research (MRes) program, as well as 4+1+2 and 1+1 Joint Degree Programs in Nursing. Regarding research collaboration, the discussion extended to research on the Determinants of Health & Health Politics in various fields, such as Social and Cultural Determinants of Health, Non-communicable Diseases (NCDs), Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD), Global Health and ID Research, and Precision Medicine, Asthma and Risk Factors from Pollution Research.
