On 5 November 2025, Assoc. Prof. Sittiwat Lertsiri, Vice President, representing the President of Mahidol University, warmly welcomed Prof. Mika Suzuki, President of Soka University, Japan, along with representatives from Soka University. Also joining the session were two exchange students currently studying at Mahidol University International College (MUIC) at the VIP Reception Room, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
During the meeting, both universities reflected on ongoing academic collaboration and agreed to expand cooperation into new areas, with a particular emphasis on human rights and peace studies. Prior to the meeting, the delegation had the opportunity to tour Mahidol University’s Salaya Campus.
Mahidol University looks forward to further strengthening its partnership with Soka University through joint academic initiatives, student and faculty exchanges, and collaborative research in the future.
