On 21st November 2025, Associate Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D. Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, Mahidol University, welcomed Ms. Huda Ali Shareef, Ambassador-at-Large, Maldives, along with Ms. Shajna Ibrahim Iqbal, Counsellor, and Ms. Hanan Rasheed, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Maldives in Thailand.
The discussion during the visit covered various areas of academic collaboration, with an emphasis on medical and public health training programs. The continuation and further development of the existing collaboration with The Maldives National University were also proposed during the meeting at the Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul Meeting Room, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
