On May 6, 2025, Mahidol University extended a warm welcome to Prof. Yonghui Zhang, Vice President for International Affairs and Chair of Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), the Republic of China, along with the delegations of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), the Republic of China. The visit aimed to explore opportunities for academic and research collaborations between the two universities. Discussions centered on potential joint projects, including the Seed Grant Funding Program and collaborative research involving the Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Engineering (focusing on Chemical and Environmental Engineering), and the Humanities and Language Division. The two institutions also discussed the Sawasdee Thailand Summer Program 2025, which will provide a platform for cultural exchange and academic cooperation.
