Mahidol University Fosters Collaboration with Durham University, the United Kingdom

On 21st May 2025 Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council welcomed Prof. Clive Roberts, Executive Dean (Science), Prof. Markus Hausmann, Head, Department of Psyclology, Mr. Richard Lancaster, Deputy Head of Transnational Educational in the International Office, and Ms. Lim Ching Mei, Regional Director, SEA frok Durham University, the United Kingdom to visit Mahidol University to explore the collaboration in academic and research at the Office of President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.

On this occasion, Prof. Clive Roberts, Executive Dean (Science) of Durham University, United Kingdom, and his delegation held academic discussions with executives from Mahidol University.

Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Vanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University, engaged in discussions on collaboration in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering, including Ph.D. student exchange programs.

Prof. Roberts and his team also met with the Faculty of Science at Mahidol University, where Dr. Rapee Boonplueang, Associate Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations, discussed collaboration in Biology and Biotechnology.

Additionally, the delegation held talks with the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Mahidol University, represented by Dr. Petch Sajjacholapunt, Associate Dean for Administration and Human Resources. The discussion covered areas such as Medical Data Science and Computer Science, as well as the organization of academic seminars, workshops, and future student exchange programs.
