Mahidol University has warmly launched its annual summer camp, hosted by Mahidol International Relations. From June 17–30, 2025, Batch A brings together 29 students from:

1. The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) – Hong Kong
2. Deakin University – Australia
3. Macquarie University (MQ) – Australia
4. National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology – Taiwan
5. National Taiwan University (NTU) – Taiwan
6. National University of Singapore (NUS) – Singapore
7. University of Sussex – United Kingdom
8. Zunyi Medical College – China
The program promotes cross-cultural learning, inclusion, and global friendships—reflecting the spirit of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in empowering diversity and sustainability.

The camp opened on June 17 with a welcome from Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council. She was joined by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sumittra Suraratdecha, our program mentor from RILCA, who led the session “Introduction to Thailand and Thai Culture,” encouraging students to engage with cultural diversity through hands-on learning.

Participants toured the Mahidol campus with student guides and joined ice-breaking and cultural activities, from exploring Thai cuisine to learning about traditional dance. These shared experiences deepened understanding, built confidence, and celebrated differences—helping young people grow into globally aware citizens.

Through the “Sawasdee Thailand” program, Mahidol reinforces its commitment to SDGs by creating inclusive spaces for learning, cultural exchange, and sustainable global citizenship.
