Assistant Professor Dr. Noppawan Phinitkhajorndech, Program Director of the Master of Nursing Science Program in Adult and Gerontological Nursing, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Apinya Siripitayakunkit, program instructor, led nine students from the program on a study visit at Taipei Medical University (TMU), Republic of China (Taiwan). The visit aimed to exchange knowledge in the fields of education and research.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Vice Superintendent Shu-Tai Shen Hsiao, Clinical Professor at the School of Nursing, TMU, and President of the Taipei Nurses Association, along with the team from Taipei Medical University (TMU), Republic of China (Taiwan).
The faculty members and students divided into groups to conduct study visits at three hospitals based on the patient groups of interest and areas of expertise:
1) Taipei Medical University Affiliated Hospital
2) Wanfang Hospital
3) Shuang Ho Hospital
The visit aimed to provide opportunities for learning, networking, and fostering collaboration with international healthcare professionals. These experiences are expected to benefit the application of nursing practice and future research.
