An “Online Class” hosted by Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University, Japan, via Zoom meeting

On November 6, 2024, 15 first-year Bachelor of Nursing students from Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, participated in an online class hosted by Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University, Japan, through a Zoom meeting.

During this session, students from Ramathibodi School of Nursing delivered a presentation to the nursing faculty and students of Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University, covering topics such as nursing education, the role of nurses in Thailand, as well as an introduction to Thai food, culture, and the country itself. In turn, 12 nursing students from Ishikawa Prefectural Nursing University presented the same topics in the context of Japan to the students from Ramathibodi School of Nursing.

The objectives of this exchange were to foster an understanding of the educational systems and cultures of both countries and to develop the essential capability to think and act from international perspectives as a nursing student.
