On 7th February 2024, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., the President of Mahidol University, together with H.E. Mrs. Serap Ersoy, the Ambassador of Turkey to Thailand, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bangkok, honored to participate in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony for academic and research collaboration between RILCA and the Yunus Emre Institute, which signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Morakot Meyer, Director of the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia (RILCA), Mahidol University, and Dr. Ömer Altun, Director of Kuala Lumpur Yunus Emre Institute. During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication, Mahidol University, along with the executives from the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia, Mahidol University, the representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bangkok and the Yunus Emre Institute from the Republic of Turkey, came to witness at the 530AB meeting room, 5th Floor, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) provides the cooperations between the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia (RILCA), Mahidol University and the Yunus Emre Institute in academic and research areas comprising of academic member, researcher and student exchange programmes, co-development in joint cooperative research projects and joint courses, co-organization in academic, scientific and cultural events, supporting funding in research and training programmes, and providing Turkish language courses for students at RILCA.
