On 11th March 2024, Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, together with Assoc. Prof. Sompop Prathanturarug, Ph.D., Vice President for Planning, Quality Development, and Academic Services, warmly welcomed Dr. Elango Elangovan, Associate Vice-President, Office of Global Engagement, University of Victoria, Canada. The aim of the visit was to discuss academic and research collaborations, as well as the discussion on the SDG workshop progress, in collaboration with CIFAL Victoria, Canada. The meeting took place at the OSM3, Office of the President, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
On this occasion, the executives and representatives of Mahidol University, consisting of Asst. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean, Faculty of Nursing, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mathuros Tipayamongkholgul, Acting for Deputy Director for Research and Academic Affairs, ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mr. Junta Arakawa, Lecturer, Piano Department, College of Music, Dr. Myat Su Yin, Senior Researcher, ICT Research Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), also welcomed and participated in the discussion on future collaborations, including student exchange programs, collaborative research projects, and Double-degree programs.
