On 26th – 28th June 2024, Mahidol University, in Cooperation with Peking University Health Science Center, Hosted “The 2nd Forum on China – ASEAN Cooperation in Public Health & Annual Assembly of China – ASEAN University Consortium on Medicine and Health”, themed “Innovations in Development Cooperation for Medical Devices and Technology, Cooperation and Development of China – ASEAN University Consortium on Medicine and Health”. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Pattarachai Kiratisin, M.D., Ph.D., Vice President for Research, Mahidol University, along with Dr. Li Song, China Women’s Federation, Dr. Amanda Bissex, Deputy Representative to China (UNICEF), and Prof. Baojian CHEN, Executive Vice Chair of Peking University Council, altogether delivered opening remarks. In this regard, Prof. Apichat Asavamongkolkul, M.D., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Assoc. Prof. Prapat Wanitpongpan, M.D., Deputy Dean for Corporate Communication and International Relations, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Asst. Prof. Suchin Worawichawong, M.D., Deputy Dean for International Relations, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Asst. Prof. Dr. Arthit Phosri, Department of Environmental Health Sciences, Faculty of Public Health, Assoc. Prof. Kanittha Chamroonsawasdi, Department of Family Health, Faculty of Public Health, together with faculties of Mahidol University and the representatives from educational institutions, international organizations, medical and public health institutions, and other organizations around the world, participated in the mentioned forums in Beijing, People’s Republic of China.
The 2nd Forum on China – ASEAN Cooperation in Public Health & Annual Assembly of China – ASEAN University Consortium on Medicine and Health was organized during the 26th – 28th of June, 2024, with the cooperation between Mahidol University, and Peking University Health Science Center, People’s Republic of China. The purpose of these forums was to serve as a platform for knowledge sharing on medical and public health, and promoting the development cooperation of innovation, technology and medical devices among the consortium members, comprising 22 universities from ASEAN Countries and 21 universities from People’s Republic of China.
