The 5th International Conference was honored by Professor Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., President of Mahidol University, who presided over the opening remarks. Professor Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., Dean of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, honored to give a welcome speech. Associate Professor Dr. Poolsuk Janepanish Visudtibhan, Director of Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, gave a report at the 5th International Conference.
In the morning session of the conference, Dr. Jos Vandelaer, the WHO representative to Thailand, gave a presentation on “The Present and Future of Chronic Disease Prevention and Management: A Growing Global Issue” and Professor Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., gave a presentation on “Changing Health Care Delivery: Health Policy and Actions”, along with speakers from both national and international be the guest speakers
More than 450 people participated in the conference, including professional nurses, nursing lecturers, nursing administrators, researchers, nursing personnel, and leading educational institutions in Thailand and abroad.
At the conference, there are various exhibitions and research presentations to publicize and exchange ideas, theories, academic knowledge, research, and nursing innovations at national and international levels.
