Assistant Professor Dr. Jumpee Granger, Deputy Director for International Relations, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nareemarn Neelapaichit, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, together with Mrs. Araya Haupala, Head of Management and Development in the Nursing Personnel Section, Ms. Dusida Santikunapon, Assistant Director of the Nursing Service Division, Ms. Rungthiwa Kantawan, Head of the Specialized Outpatient Nursing Section, and Mrs. Noppakan Wannakansophon, Head of Management and Development in Nursing Personnel, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, visited St. Luke’s International University, Japan on April 17, 2023

The visit was welcomed by Professor Dr. Erika Ota, Director of Center for International and Community Partnerships and Director of WHOCC, St. Luke’s International University with the discussion between the two institutes on education, and student exchange program. She also welcomed the team to visit the hospital and health service center.

The visit was welcomed by Professor Dr. Noriko Yamamoto-Mitani, Professor of Gerontological Homecare and Long-term Care Nursing, the Director of the Global Nursing Research Center (GNRC), and Head of the Graduate School of Health Science and Nursing, the University of Tokyo.

After that, Professor Dr. Mari Ikeda, Professor of Department of Family Nursing, the University of Tokyo and Professor Dr. Gojiro Nakagami, Professor of Department of Gerontological Nursing/Wound Care Management, Division of Health Science and Nursing Graduate School of Medicine, the University of Tokyo, led the delegations to visit the Research Center and the University of Tokyo Hospital. The visit was to experience the Outpatient service in the hospital, including a collaborative discussion on education and student exchange.

Assistant Professor Dr. Jumpee Granger, Deputy Director for International Relations, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, together with the Board of Directors, faculty members, and staff from Nursing Department Ramathibodi Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, visited the Division of Health Sciences at Osaka University, Japan

The visited was welcomed by Professor Dr. Kamide Kei, Dean, Division of Health Sciences, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, together with faculty members, and staff. The two institutes discussed on education, research, and student exchange, including the aging center collaboration.

On this occasion, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Jumpee Granger, presented the Master of Nursing Science Program, International Program. Assistant Professor Dr. Inthira Roopsawang presented research studies on the topic “Frailty in older adults with Musculoskeletal conditions”, and Assistant Professor Dr. Kamonrat Kittipimpanon presented a research study on the topic “Fall prevention program in community.

Assistant Professor Dr. Jumpee Granger, Deputy Director for International Relations, Assistant Professor Dr. Nareemarn Neelapaichit, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Inthira Roopsawang, and Assistant Professor Dr. Kamonrat Kittipimpanon,  Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, together with Mrs. Araya Haupala, Head of Management and Development in the Nursing Personnel Section, Ms. Dusida Santikunapon, Assistant Director of the Nursing Service Division, Ms. Rungthiwa Kantawan, Head of the Specialized Outpatient Nursing Section, and Mrs. Noppakan Wannakansophon, Head of Management and Development in Nursing Personnel, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, visited Osaka University Hospital. The visit received a warm welcome by Mr. Tomoyuki Iwasaki, Director of Nursing Department and the nursing team.

On this occasion, there were exchanges of knowledge and experiences on the educational center, the improvement of nurse’s competency system, Patient Service Support center, including the operation of specialized nursing clinics, Outpatient and Inpatient Departments.
