Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital Convened Virtual Exchange Activity with National Taiwan University College of Medicine

Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, and National Taiwan University, Taiwan, celebrated the successful launch of a virtual exchange activity on February 23, 2021. On this occasion, Dr. Ying-Yuan Lee, the Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, honored the event by giving an opening speech, following by speech from Prof. Yen-Hsuan Ni, Dean, National Taiwan University College of Medicine (NTUCM), and finally, greeting from Prof. Sirintara Singhara Na Ayudhaya, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital.

This virtual exchange activity started with short presentations of the 2 institutes’ backgrounds. Following with the presentations from the perspective of students, both from Ramathibodi and NTUCM, on the topic; Education under COVID-19. All participants listened attentively to the presentations and both sides learned and became more curious about their partner country, its education system, and culture, in addition to exchanging information and asking questions about the measures taken against the COVID-19 pandemic in their respective countries.

This activity aims to encourage the medical students from both Ramathibodi and NTUCM to share and exchange their knowledge despite the pandemic era.
