On 14th January 2021, Mahidol University co-hosted an online research workshop on Data Science for Biomedical Research and Applications with Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornlada Nuchnoi, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, Faculty of Medical Technology, represented Mahidol University to share current and future research aims with Prof. Alan Kin Tak LAU, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International Research Development) and Prof. Kai Qin, Director of Swinburne Intelligent Data Analytics Lab, Swinburne University of Technology. The presentations were followed by discussions on opportunities for research collaboration such as joint PhD, Cotutelle,and a joint research center.
