Open House Faculty of Tropical Medicine 2020

The Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University hosted “Open House Faculty of Tropical Medicine” for students from Mahidol University International College. The team was led by Assoc. Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, Dean of Mahidol University International College along with faculty staff and students. The team was warmly welcomed by Dr. Wirongrong Chierakul, Deputy Dean for Education and Quality Development, the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. This event comprises many activities including an introduction to research laboratories such as laboratories of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology introduced by Assoc. Prof. Pornsawan Leaungwutiwong, Head of Department of Microbiology and Immunology and an introduction to the Faculty’s postgraduate programs including Doctor of Philosophy in Tropical Medicine; Ph.D. (Trop.Med.) program, Master of Science in Tropical Medicine; M.Sc. (Trop.Med.) program, Master of Science (School Health) program and Master of Science in Biomedical and Health Informatics; M.Sc.(B.H.I.) program, the first full online course in Mahidol University’s postgraduate program. Each program was introduced by the Head of the program including Asst. Prof. Saengduen Moonsom, Head of Ph.D. (Trop.Med.) program, Assoc. Prof. Urusa Thaenkham, Head of M.Sc. (Trop.Med.) program, Asst. Prof. Dumrongkiet Arthan, Head of M.Sc. School Health program and Asst. Prof. Dr. Saranath Lawpoolsri Niyom, Head of M.Sc. (B.H.I.) program. After that, there was a Question & Answer (Q&A) session by Mahidol University International College’s alumni. This event was held on March 6, 2020 at 17^th  floor, Pratap Singhasivanon Conference Room, Ratchanakarin Building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University.
