Around 170 exchange and visiting students from Germany, United States, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Canada, Japan and others who enrolled in Trimester 2 of Academic Year 2019-2020 attended the orientation held on January 3, 2019 at the Auditorium, MUIC Building I.
Assoc. Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, gave a welcome speech and provided general information to the students on how to stay safe and healthy while studying in Thailand. Dr. Alexander Nanni, MUIC Associate Dean for International Affairs, along with MUIC executives, several MUIC lecturers and staff, also gave additional academic information and an introduction to Thai language and culture.
Afterwards, the students visited Siam Niramit Bangkok to watch traditional Thai entertainment. They also visited miniature Thai villages to observe traditional way of life and Thai craft demonstration.
The orientation was organized by the Student Exchange Unit.
