On 12 July 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Acting Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication on behalf of President of Mahidol University welcomed Prof. Shojiro Nishio, President and the delegation from Osaka University, Japan. Also joined in the session were Assoc Prof. Pratap Singhasivanon, Dean of Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Assoc. Prof. Sittiwat Lertsiri, Dean of Faculty of Science and the executives from both faculties. During the meeting, the participants discussed their plans for future collaboration.
On this occasion, Prof. Shojiro Nishio along with the delegation from Osaka University had a chance to visit 3 key Centers of the Mahidol University – Osaka University Joint Campus at the Faculty of Tropical Medicine and the Faculty of Science:
1. Mahidol – Osaka Center for Infectious Diseases;
2. Center of Excellence for Antibody Research; and
3. Mahidol University – Osaka University Collaborative Research Center for Bioscience and Biotechnology.
