FPH-MU hosts Collaborative Discussion the Republic of the Philippines Delegation

April 1st, 2019, Associate Professor Dr Chanuantong Tanasugarn, FPH Dean warmly welcomed a delegation of 3 professors and 18 DrPH students from Our Lady of Fatima University, the Republic of the Philippines followed by the Dean’s Opening Remarks and introductions. Nine DrPH students from the FPH-MU also participated.

Associate Professor Dr Mathuros Tipayamongkholgul, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Networking facilitated presentations of the public health programs of FPH-MU and Our Lady of Fatima University.

Then collaboration regarding DrPH curriculum and faculty and student exchange programs was discussed and both sides presented research initiatives to explore common grounds to share. Associate Professor Dr Nawarat Suwannapong, Senior Advisor to the Dean and Professor Dr Pornpimol Kongtip Occupational Health and Safety Department offered their insights.

After the delegates toured the Central Laboratory, highlighting the spectroscopy and chromatography labs, the Dean brought the head of the delegation, Dr Jose Jurel M. Nuevo, Dean to meet Dr Sandra Tempongko, Deputy Coordinator of the SEAMEO TROPMED Network.
