The College of Music, Mahidol University was honored to welcome guests from our partner schools for the “1st Workshop on Distributed Ethnomusicology Data and MIR in the Framework of ASEA-UNINET”. The College of Music and the Mahidol ICT Faculty had representsentatives, and were joined by our partner school – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the Vienna Technical College, and representatives from other SE Asia institutions. Mahidol University Acting Vice President Asst. Prof. Flg. Off. Chatchai Kunavisarut welcomed the participants to the university and encouraged them to forge new research directions. The workshop will run from 28-30 January. The College of Music is grateful for the support of the Mahidol University International Relations Department for their support for this event.
