On March 4th, 2019 Asst. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, Director of ASEAN Institute for Health Development, Mahidol University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Seo Ah Hong, Assistant Director for Education Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Chompukul, Asst. Prof. Somsak Wongsawass and staff welcomed Prof. Dr. Kenzo Takahashi and Dr. Kyoko Sudo, Graduate School of Public Health, Teikyo University. The aims of the meeting were to seek more academic collaboration in joint research, international publication, staff and student exchange, international training and etc. Professor Dr. Kenzo Takahashi also came to report the activities after signing the Memorandum of Understanding. The activities were conducted under the MOU such as: (1) exchange students Dr. Zaw Zaw Oo visited Graduate School of Public Health, Teikyo University from May-June 2017 to write international publication with Professor Dr. Kenzo Takahashi (2) Joint research publication on “Active Again: case study in Asia” with Professor Dr. Kenzo Takahashi and Dr. Kyoko Sudo, Graduate School of Public Health, Teikyo University
The memorandum was signed on October 26th, 2015 which is focused on academic collaboration in various areas: (1) Joint research collaborations, (2) Exchange of faculty, students and staff, (3) Participation in and co-hosting of lectures, meetings, seminars, symposia and conferences, and (4) Collaboration in other areas that public health research and educational cooperation.
