AIHD welcomes delegates from Washington State University

On the 20th of March 2019, Asst. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana, Director of the ASEAN Institute for Health Development (AIHD), Asst. Prof. Dr. Seo Ah Hong, Assistant Director for Education Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Chompikul, Editor in Chief of the Journal of Public Health and Development welcomed Prof. Sung K. Ahn, Professor of Statistics and the Associate Dean for International Programs, Department of Finance and Management Science, Carson College of Business and Jessica D. Cassleman, Assistant Dean for International Programs, Carson College of Business, Washington State University, United States of America. The purpose of the visit was to explore possible academic collaboration including joint research, international training, and student and staff exchange. In this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Phudit Tejativaddhana also shared knowledge in rural medical education in Thailand and the new missions of AIHD. Lastly, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Chompikul invited Prof. Sung K. Ahn to be a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Public Health and Development.
