Mahidol University International College (MUIC) in Joint Degree Program with PolyU’s School of Hotel and Tourism Management signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the School of Hotel and Tourism Management (SHTM) of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) that enables the two institutions to offer two joint-degree programs during a ceremony held on February 2, 2017 at MUIC’s Auditorium.
MUIC and SHTM, whose tourism and hotel management study program is top-ranked, will soon offer “Plus One,” an intensive ladderized degree program covering bachelor’s and master’s degrees; and a dual international master’s degree program in International Hospitality Management.
Assoc. Prof. Phitaya Charupoonphol, MUIC Dean, and Prof. Kaye Chon, Dean and Chair Professor of SHTM, signed the MOU. Prof. Chon later delivered a speech entitled “Life as a Journey, Travel as a Career.”
