          Associate Professor Dr Chakrit Hirunpetcharat, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, FPH-MU met with Mr Ashfaque Talpur, Ph.D. Candidate and Doctoral Academy Scholar from the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Sheffield, England, UK to discuss research and academic collaboration the morning of September 20, 2018 in Room 1203, 2nd Floor, Sataranasukwisit Building 1.
          After Welcome Remarks and introducing Mahidol University, Faculty of Public Health by the Deputy Dean, Mr Talpur provided an overview of the University of Sheffield sharing information regarding PhD opportunities, current research undertaken in the UK on aging and exploring with students and staff the status of the elderly in Thailand
          In addition, they explored funding opportunities for collaborative work on common themes in future, how to access information and funding sources including Newton Funds. Other professors joining in the active discussion included Lecturer Lieutenant Dr Kitiphong Harncharoen, RTN, Epidemiology Department, Assistant Professor Dr Kwanjai Amnatsatsue, Public Health Nursing Department, Lecturer Dr Nitchaphat Khansakorn, Head of Community Health and Lecturer Dr Ajchara Vararuk, Community Health Department.
