A student from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) majoring in International Business was given the Best Performing Student Award in the recently held Youth Ecosperity Dialogue 2018 (YED 2018) in Singapore.
Ms. Panawan Wanotayapitak was sent as a delegate to YED 2018 organized by Temasek Foundation International in partnership with National University of Singapore. The event is a parallel student track under the umbrella of the Ecosperity Conference. This program allowed students from Southeast Asian countries to discuss national issues in order to find sustainable solutions and present them as a team.
Ms. Panawan’s team, consisting of students from Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia, won the competition. She also received the Best Performing Student Award after presenting a model of the Royal Irrigation System, an innovation of King Rama IX of Thailand.
