Five students from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) participated in the “StartUp Thailand U League” organized by StartUp Thailand Academy at Khon Kaen University on May 5-6, 2018.
Mr. Suppakorn Araam-arunsri, Mr. Chatchai Chinkongkrai, Mr. Tin Truong, and Ms. Yanisa Saunse, from Business Administration Division, and Mr. Vorarat Rugvong, from the MBA program, worked as a team and came up with a project—a security platform to reduce the risk of severe injury for old people involved in accidents.
Out of 200 participating teams, the MUIC group was among 55 teams that were selected and was given a 50,000 Baht budget to build a prototype which they will demonstrate at StartUp Thailand Demo Day to be held at IMPACT Arena, Exhibition & Convention Center, in August 2018.
