Mahidol University International College (MUIC) will provide educational training to nine schools in Nakhon Pathom province under the “U-School Mentoring Program” which is a project of the Office of the Higher Education Commission.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phitaya Charupoonphol, Dean of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), and Dr. Kriangpong Phumiraj, Head of the Nakhon Pathom Provincial Education Office, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Charinyarasami Hall, Aditayathorn Building, on July 5, 2018. Dr. Ariya Brahmasubha, Secretary for the “U-School Mentoring Program” in South Central Region, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, also attended the signing ceremony.
The MoU stipulates that MUIC will send volunteer staff and students to the following schools: Wat Prachanart School, Ban Bang Toey School, Khlong Bang Krathue School, Ban Klong Mahasawat School, Rattanakosin Somphot Bowonniwet Salaya School, Ban Tha Talat School, Ban Hom Kret School, Wat San Phet School and Ban Dong Ket School in order to help them enhance the quality of their education.
MUIC will provide training on “Professional Learning Community,” “English Communication,” “Easy O-Net,” “Ethics and Morality,” “AR: Augmented Reality”, “Environmental Conservation and Trash Management,” and others. This program is scheduled to be completed in September 2018.
